Unit 2 – Describing a range of products, its seasons and its packaging possibilities

 

Unit 3 – Requesting and providing a quotation with all of the necessary information:

  • la référence, conditionnement, unité de vente, prix, devise, origine, minimum quantité pour commandé au prix proposé, termes de paiement, validité de la cotation, délai (temps entre réception de la bonne de commande et le moment quand les produits sont prêts pour l’enlèvement) et si le prix comprend le transport.

John loves to cook. He cooks everyday. He began cooking when he was a child. He prefers to cook with fresh ingredients. This summer he will start working in an Italian restaurant and he will cook different pasta dishes. Last summer he worked at a traditional French restaurant for three months. The restaurant was only open for dinner. He went to the beach every day in the morning. The Italian restaurant is open for lunch and dinner so he won’t be able to go to the beach every day. The Italian restaurant is only open four days per week so he will be able to go out with his friends more often than last summer.

Activity 2

Bill loves to go skiing. He prefers the Alps but this year he will go skiing in the Pyrenees because he only has three days off from work. Last year he was a student and had more time for vacation. He went to Savoie and skied for a week. It was very cold and the snow was excellent. He took a few skiing lessons and he improved a lot. He was able to ski on the most difficult ski trails. He loves the food in Savoie and he ate raclette or tartiflette every night but because he skied, he didn’t gain any weight.

This winter he will ski in Font Romeu. It is less expensive than the ski resort in Savoie. He is thinking about buying new skis this year. He also plans to eat at a restaurant that serves traditional food. He will stay at a small hotel that is only 100 meters from the slopes. Breakfast is included and served at 7 o’clock.
